This week I have been very listening carefully on how many Calories I need to eat a day in order to lose weight. I have been annoying to keep it fewer than 2,000 for no other reason then I heard Jason mention that quantity on the fat blogging pod cast. After doing some examine, I found I need to do a few calculation:
1 Calculate your BMR
This is your base number of Calories a day you burn just by being living and doing activities like mouthful of air.
Women: BMR = 655 +4.35 x weight in pounds +4.7 x height in inch -4.7 x age in years
Men: BMR = 66 +6.23 x weight in pounds +12.7 x height in inch -6.8 x age in years
So for me it would be:
BMR = 66 +6.23 x 195.2 +12.7 x 70 -6.8 x 29 = 1,973.89*
