Nosebleeds are a consequence of dry, crusty mucus membranes, trauma to the nose or convinced disease process. A nosebleed more often than not stops by itself but will stop more quickly with your help.

Vinegar, lemon juice, and salt. Take a small cup and pour concerning 1 tablespoon of salt in it. Then put just enough vinegar in it to soften the salt. 2. Make a 'thumbs up' with your hand. Use your right hand if blood loss out of your right nostril, absent hand for left nostril. 
3. Press your thumb firmly adjacent to the side of your nostril. Don't press so hard that it hurts, just firmly sufficient that the nostril is flattened and closed 
4. Sit or position still. Lean onward slightly to stop blood organization down your throat
5. Hold your thumb in place for 5-10 min.  Breathe in general
6. Discharge the weight on your nose gradually. You may feel a funny impression as blood flows back into the vessels in your nose.
