How to Lose Belly Fat

Love handles or flesh around the waist is a common problem among most of the women. Love handles can also be seen on the butts and thighs; the fat accumulated in these areas give an ugly shape to the body. Hip Roll:

Hip rolling is an effective belly fat loss exercise. For this exercise, lie down on a mat keeping your back straight and your arms should be stretched and place behind the head. You now require a support for your body such as a ladder or the legs of the table. The support will keep your body in the right position because this exercise would twist your hips a bit. Now keep your shoulders on the floor and then gently swing over your left leg to one side; make sure you keep your right leg in a bent position. Go back to the starting position. Take a break of not more than two seconds. Now do the same movement with your other leg. To make the exercise effective, make sure that you have kept your legs dead straight; if there is a little bent in your legs, the entire effect of the workout will go on your abs and not on those love handles. Hip roll is therefore, the most efficient and beneficial way to lose belly fat. You can also do some alternate exercises as discussed in previous sections.

Bend Down Swingers:

This exercise is considered as preliminary one for losing belly fat. And I assume, many of you are familiar with it. The exercise is effective on the love handles if carried out after doing a bit of cardio. For the workout, you need to stand straight while keeping a gap of about sixteen inches between the feet. In this position, hold the dumbbells in your hands, right in front of the chest and make sure you have your palms on the inner side. Keep your head straight and your hips and knees should be locked. Inhale as much of the air as you can and twist and bend your body to the right. When you are bending, maintain the twist and using the dumbbell, touch your right foot while giving a stretch to your love handles. Now go back to where you started and exhale gently. You can take break for a second and then do the same to the left side.

Twisting Your Feet:

This is a very good workout which will not only add strength and toughness to your hips but also help the love handles to melt. Lay down on the floor while keeping your hands behind the legs and legs should be held up straight while touching the wall. Roll your body a little towards the knees such that your elbow is on contact with the right knee. For a second, rest in this position and then give another break after falling down. Rise up again and use your left elbow to touch the right knee. Doing this will make your love handles melt away. It is recommended that you increase the pace of your workout.
